What you will do:

The Building Automation Engineer is responsible for technical support and site commissioning work. Key emphasis will be on the ability to understand customer requirements and rapidly demonstrate how composite based solutions can be utilized to provide solutions with costing, timing, and resources included in the proposals. As for site commissioning work, the candidate is to work hand in hand with project manager for the controls execution..

How you will do it:

  • Provides customer support by responding to requests for technical queries with detailed analysis of building management system, project schedule of execution, material costing, and submittal of design and process improvements, when applicable, to meet all customer needs.
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to align solutions, costing, and delivery feasibility. This include prepare technical submissions, drawings, and proposals, including system schematics and high-level design documentation.
  • Work closely with Operation teams to assists in project execution and coordination on the engineering field especially on Building Automation Systems delivery.
  • Perform cost estimation based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements
  • Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure accuracy for proposal submissions
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, and other professional and technical personnel.
  • Conceptual design of composite components and assemblies to support proposals
  • Work as part of a team of design and engineering and ops staff
  • Knowledge of ACMV and controls associate with Johnson Control Metasys will be an advantage

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and  Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 year relevant working experience
  • Possess knowledge in Logic Block Programming, PLC programming on Metasys or Niagara or Pcvue or ICONICS software
  • Off site travel and station is required (Outstation cover whole Malaysia)
