These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Unit Group Manager may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary.Responsibilities:Create methodologies, procedures and governance of the Productivity Area to ensure expense targets are met by each business/functionEvaluate and approve investment/expenditure requests and capital expenses for all areas/functionsEnsure approved out-of-budget expenditure requests are appropriately handledEngage in cost management activities, such as validating spending and cost saving initiatives, monitoring savings initiatives and expenses, as well as monitoring consistency between financial information, productivity information and HR reportsIdentify opportunities to optimize costs, propose initiatives and lead creation of direct expense plans in partnership with internal functions and teamsManage and drive the process to set up a continuous cycle of organization/operating model reviews to shape the local organization modelProvide leadership and promote business ties with internal and external senior leaders/clients across key businesses, regions and support functionsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:15+ years of relevant experienceManagement experience in a financial services roleKnowledge of the financial services industry and technologyDemonstrated ability to manage a team, complex projects and processesProven ability to work in high-pressure environmentsConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communicationProven strategic planning and presentation skillsConsistently develop and maintain effective work relationshipsProven ability to conduct research/analysis and organize findingsEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred This site uses only strictly necessary cookies to perform basic functions.
