Job Description:

Key responsibilities include owning the operating governance for the Global Banking & Global Markets portfolio, leveraging metrics and performance indicators to monitor execution health, identify emerging risks, drive timely decisions, and provide transparent reporting to senior leaders. This role also entails partnering effectively with Senior executives, Test Owners (TO), Test Owner Representatives (TOR), as well as various horizontal teams within Enterprise Independent Testing to support smooth day-to-day operations, issue escalation, intake prioritization, capacity awareness, and consistent execution across all lines of business. We are seeking candidates with subject matter expertise in areas that span across Global Markets and Banking lines of business and enterprise processes with a proven track record of using data, risk insights, and stakeholder engagement to manage a complex testing portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage metrics used to run the portfolio, including execution progress, inventory health, intake volume, capacity indicators, root cause trends, remediation status, and emerging risk themes.

  • Drive the day-to-day operating governance for the portfolio, including weekly risk routines, metric reviews, issue escalation, action tracking, and follow-up with Test Owners and Test Owner Representatives.

  • Provide transparency to senior leaders and key stakeholders through clear, concise reporting packages that connect metric performance to risks, decisions, and required actions.

  • Partner with TO/TORs to review testing inventory, confirm objectives are clear, validate risk and LRR alignment where applicable, and ensure tests remain aligned to portfolio priorities.

  • Oversee intake review and prioritization across development and execution, ensuring work is appropriately assessed, sequenced, approved, and connected to risk-based priorities.

  • Use dashboard insights and metric trends to identify execution gaps, root causes, remediation needs, aging items, and opportunities to simplify or strengthen portfolio management routines.

  • Facilitate recurring portfolio routines, including weekly risk meetings, monthly execution progress reviews, and timely escalation of items requiring leadership attention.

  • Prepare stakeholder metrics and operating updates that translate portfolio performance into clear insights, decisions, and recommended actions for senior leaders and business partners.

  • Collaborates with process owners to understand processes, identify risks, and plan methodologies to evaluate controls, and compliance with laws, rules, and policies

  • Ensures proper risk discipline, controls and culture are in place to identify, escalate and debate issues

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degrees or above in fields including but not limited to: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Process Engineering

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect metrics, risks, controls, and business context to inform decisions and escalate issues effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the “why,” ask thoughtful follow-up questions, and apply context to determine the right path forward.

  • Proven ability to manage daily operating routines, competing priorities, and strict deadlines while maintaining ownership and accountability for high-quality outcomes.

  • Strong command of risk management, including the ability to identify trends, anticipate issues, develop mitigation strategies, and drive timely escalation.

  • Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate portfolio metrics into clear executive-level insights and action-oriented recommendations.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders, Test Owners, Test Owner Representatives, and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and accountability.

  • Experience using dashboards, leverage metrics, and performance indicators to monitor execution health, identify root causes, and support portfolio-level decision making.
