At Hitachi Energy, we are establishing and developing an Operation Center of Excellence in Madrid, Spain (ESOPC) within the Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU).
How you'll make an impact:
Coordinate SCM activities for large projects within the HBU EU organization during the tender stage.
Ensure SCM intelligence and expertise are leveraged in each tender opportunity.
Contribute directly to the competitiveness of Hitachi Energy’s offer to customers.
Identify and minimize potential procurement risks during the tender stage.
Ensure a proper SCM handover from tender to execution teams.
Transfer lessons learned and best practices from previous projects to new ones.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5–7 years of experience in general SCM activities within project business & 3–5 years of experience supporting or being involved in SCM during the tender stage.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
General technical knowledge of project-based industries (energy, oil & gas).
Ability to adapt to a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Full professional fluency in English.
