Sr Inventory Planner

As a Senior Inventory Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations and meet customer demand effectively.

You will work out of our Houston, TX location.

In this role, you will impact inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory, thereby improving customer satisfaction and reducing carrying costs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Analyze demand patterns and forecast future inventory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor inventory performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 6+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret demand data and optimize inventory levels.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools such as SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and supplier coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to drive inventory performance improvements.
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory optimization strategies and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Continuous learning mindset and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Experience in coaching or mentoring team members is a plus.
