What You Can Expect
As a Senior Marketing Manager you would responsible for defining and driving the portfolio strategy across the EMEA region, in close alignment with the Marketing Lead. It provides strategic direction on priorities, resource allocation, and go-to-market approaches to ensure business growth and market relevance.
Key responsibilities include the day-to-day management and execution of the EMEA segment strategy, coordination of New Product Introduction (NPI) launch plans, and leadership of portfolio optimization and rationalization initiatives.
The role also involves developing and implementing strategic marketing plans in collaboration with country sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with global priorities and EMEA KPIs.
As a central interface across the organization, the Senior Marketing Manager works closely with cross-functional teams—including Medical Education, Academy, Marketing Communications, Commercial Operations, Demand Planning, and Finance—to build a comprehensive, 360° view of the segment strategy and ensure effective execution.
This role can be based in any EMEA country
How You'll Create Impact
1. Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Contribute to the development and execution of the EMEA Segment Strategy in alignment with global priorities
- Lead the commercialization strategy of the segment portfolio across EMEA markets
- Drive portfolio optimization and rationalization initiatives to maximize market impact and profitability
- Identify market opportunities and anticipate industry trends to strengthen the segment footprint
- Ensure alignment with other EMEA segments to unlock cross-selling opportunities
2. Product Lifecycle & Launch Excellence
- Lead and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) plans across the EMEA region
- Provide hands-on support for product launches and market introductions
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure accurate mid- and long-term forecasting
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies for key brands
3. Marketing Activation & Brand Management
- Design and implement integrated promotional and communication plans in collaboration with Marketing Communications
- Develop initiatives to enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of focus brands based on market and competitor insights
- Support the execution of EMEA marketing plans at country level
4. Commercial Support & Field Enablement
- Support Product Managers and commercial teams by providing product expertise, training, and key account support
- Coach and guide in-country sales and marketing teams to ensure effective execution of the segment strategy
- Contribute to achieving revenue targets (including pricing, pull-through, and value protection)
5. Education & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with the Zimmer Biomet Institute to develop comprehensive medical education programs
- Collaborate with the Sales Academy to design internal training and capability-building initiatives
- Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and expert surgeons to support strategic initiatives
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a central interface across functions (MedEd, MarComm, Commercial Ops, Finance, etc.)
- Ensure alignment and coordination to deliver a 360° segment strategy

Your Background
- Educated to University Level. Graduate with a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare consulting, ideally within the Medical Device industry.
- Experience with selling and implementing strategies on a national/international basis within the healthcare environment is a must.
