Description

In this position, you will receive a competitive base wage along with individual production incentive pay. The Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and assembling new products.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Follow Work Instructions to complete assembly of RIDGID pipe wrench
  • Required to inspect parts and components, advising technicians of quality or efficiency issues.
  • Required to pack the wrench into provided cartons and stack on pallets
  • Work with DPR's and Work Instructions
  • Operate Hook Mills/Threaders, Hook Grinders, Handle Cells, Feed Wheels
  • Load parts into machine, unload parts
  • Required to keep machines/work area clean
  • Other duties may be assigned, also punctually and attendance are critical elements of this job.

Since the invention of the modern pipe wrench in 1923, the 25-acre RIDGID world headquarters in Elyria, OH has been developing tools that help trades professionals tackle jobs faster, safer, and more accurately. Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K square feet of office and manufacturing space. The campus is also home to a factory tool service center and an innovative “schoolhouse” training center that educates and trains hundreds of tradespersons annually.
