AltaGas - Manager, Change Enablement

As Manager, Change Enablement, Digital Projects, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our people successfully adopt and embrace change across the enterprise. Reporting into our Director, Organizational Change Management & Communications, you'll lead the people-side of complex digital initiatives, ensuring employees are informed, prepared, and empowered as new technologies, processes, and ways of working are introduced. You'll partner with senior leaders, project teams, and stakeholders across the organization to build change strategies that drive engagement, readiness, and lasting adoption. This is a highly visible enterprise role for a strategic change leader who thrives in complex environments, influences without authority, and is passionate about turning transformation into results.

What You'll Do

  • Lead organizational change management efforts for enterprise-wide digital initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and realization of business value

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change strategies that include stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and sustainment planning

  • Partner closely with business leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to understand current and future-state impacts and translate them into actionable change plans

  • Assess organizational readiness, identify change impacts and adoption risks, and implement mitigation strategies that strengthen engagement and reduce resistance

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, leaders, and change practitioners across the organization

  • Design and oversee learning and enablement programs that equip employees with the knowledge and confidence to embrace new ways of working

  • Establish meaningful metrics to measure adoption, engagement, and change effectiveness, using insights to continuously improve outcomes

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping shape decisions that balance project objectives with employee experience

  • Champion a mindset of continuous improvement by evolving change management practices and bringing forward innovative approaches that enhance organizational effectiveness

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience leading organizational change management, transformation, or business improvement initiatives within complex organizations

  • Demonstrated success designing and executing change strategies for large-scale technology, digital, or enterprise transformation programs

  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices; Prosci, CCMP, or related certification is considered an asset

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels, including senior leadership

  • Experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communications planning, learning strategy development, and adoption measurement

  • Outstanding facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences

  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience working across multiple functions and priorities while driving alignment among diverse stakeholder groups

  • A collaborative mindset, natural curiosity, and passion for helping people navigate change successfully

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline
