The Opportunity
As an AWS Security Engineer - Experienced Associate, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure IT systems that support business operations, confirming the smooth functioning of networks, servers, and data centers to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Within our Managed Services practice, you will focus on integrating development, operations, and security industry-leading practices to validate secure, consistent, and efficient delivery of software and applications. This role bridges the gap between teams for seamless and secure application and software development.

Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing secure IT systems to support business operations and optimize performance
- Integrating development, operations, and security practices to minimize software threats and validate secure delivery of applications
- Bridging the gap between development, operations, and security teams for seamless application and software development
- Utilizing AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for efficient cloud infrastructure management and deployment
- Applying cybersecurity measures and conducting vulnerability assessments to safeguard systems and data
- Troubleshooting security infrastructure to resolve issues and maintain system reliability
- Managing security incidents and tracking them to improve response strategies and mitigate risks
- Collaborating with team members and clients to adapt to varying challenges and scopes in a fast-paced environment
- Developing skills and knowledge through active learning and feedback to deliver quality work and drive value for clients
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics
-At least one of the following: AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or, Industry security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH)
- Demonstrating proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
- Utilizing Ansible and Puppet for software provisioning and deployment
- Implementing security infrastructure with Palo Alto Networks and Prisma
- Managing security incidents using Splunk and CrowdStrike
- Excelling in continuous integration with Jenkins and GitLab
- Managing AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) environments
- Developing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strengthening security using AWS Key Management Service (KMS), Network Firewall, and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Leveraging AWS SDKs and tools to automate and optimize cloud operations
- Adapting to fast-paced environments with intellectual curiosity

The salary range for this position is: $61,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
