This role leads the Press Brake department by coordinating staffing, optimizing equipment performance, maintaining bending standards, and driving continuous improvement. If you’re excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you! What you’ll do:Manage the Press Brake department schedule, ensuring optimal personnel coverage to meet production demands, including strategic management of labor hours and overtime worked by all staffEffectively and efficiently perform press brake operations, ensuring all parts meet company standards, and demonstrate knowledge of startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance of assigned equipmentCollaborate with the Post Production Manager & Operations Director on a daily basis, promptly addressing any production-related issues and playing a key role in refining bending guidelines Conduct training, coaching, and development of staff membersAssist Support Agents with customer questions related to bending and other technical issues, as neededManage job flow, addressing past due and current jobs, communicate delays, and prioritize production based on daily workflow, providing guidance to staff for timely order completion Minimum QualificationsCNC press brake experienceAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishMinimum 1 year of supervisory experienceDemonstrated leadership and team management skillsBasic knowledge of CNC systemsAbility to interpret flat pattern layouts of partsAbility to operate press brake equipment, including startup, shutdown, and routine maintenanceStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to prioritize workflow to meet production deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications2+ years of supervisory experienceExperience collaborating with production or operations leadershipFamiliarity with bending guidelines and process improvement initiativesExperience managing tooling inventoryExperience supporting customer technical inquiries related to bendingEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment   Work EnvironmentManufacturing and production floor environmentWork performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times BenefitsMedical, Dental, & Vision coveragePaid holidays + PTO401K with company matchTuition reimbursementPaid parental leaveShort-term disabilityLunch provided dailyEmployee discount on parts Salary Description $60,000 - $80,000 annually Apply View All Jobs
