Execute Service maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting work with low, medium to high complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other Hitachi Energy teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for Hitachi Energy, Power Grids Grid Integration
We have fantastic Field Service Engineer opportunities at our Rayong Branch Office. Join our Power Grids, Grid Integration business in Thailand. We are looking for experienced individuals who are willing to perform works at our customer sites. The focus for this role will be to execute Installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance activities specific to customer requirements. Proactively identify potential opportunities to improve reliability of Substation system and Substation Equipment and recommend actions through communication with the customer thereby contributing to service growth.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories.
- Coordinates, prepares, and ensures that all materials, parts, tools and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.
- Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions.
- Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews.
- Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment and methods.
- Some domestic and/or international travel will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites.

Your background:
- You hold degree in B.E. in Electrical power engineering.
- (0-2 years) of work experience in (commissioning & services of plant or substation system, working as service engineer with substation equipment, power quality, protection & automation system)
- Good knowledge in (MS Project, MS Excel, MS power point, MS word, MS Office)
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of substation equipment, power quality, protection & automation system.
- Willingness and ability to travel as part of our order processing domestic and/or international sites.
- Agile, Team Player, Quick Learner, Collaborator, Result oriented & Proactive.
- Having growth mindset.
- Proficiency in English and Thai communication skill.
