A leader in the convenience store and fuel space, ACT’s retail network includes ~16,700 convenience stores, and has footprint across 31 countries and territories primarily under the Circle K brand. The India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre (F&L GCC) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Fuels & Logistics Team, and the Senior Analyst Wet Stock will be a key player on this team that will oversee the entire wet stock management process in respective region, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards and grow F&L globally at ACT.

About the role:

The Senior Analyst within the Wet Stock Management team will support wet stock operations across Europe and North America, focusing on fuel management optimization, wet stock analytics, HSE compliance, and forecourt equipment performance. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities, driving operational efficiency, and providing guidance to Analysts and Associate Analysts while ensuring continuous improvement in wet stock control practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate and support, as a subject matter expert, in department and cross department projects.

  • Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards that offer comprehensive insights into wet stock metrics and trends. 

  • Prepare regular, timely, relevant, and concise reporting on the wet stock for management.

  • Perform reviews and provide feedback for the reporting.

  • Be aware of Wet Stock Management policies and understand ongoing processes within the company.

  • Recommend and participate in the development and improvement of monitoring systems, existing policies, procedures, processes within department.

  • Conduct thorough and regular internal audits to ensure compliance with wet stock management procedures and standards.

  • Identify and investigate complex discrepancies in wet stock area, providing expert insights.

  • Perform individual or group trainings for junior team members (onboarding; skills development; filling the gaps in knowledge)

  • In case of necessity proactively support team members with advice and support Team Manager in department work organization and reporting to BU’s.

Qualifications and experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Compliance, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or other related industry.

  • Higher educational level in Logistics, Engineering, Statistics, Accounting or related field

  • Work experience in foreign and in multicultural environment will be considered as an advantage. 

  • Previous experience as a wet stock analyst and familiarity with wet stock monitoring systems will be considered as an advantage.

  • Expertise in wetstock management with a strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities as well as work individually .

  • Proactive, detail oriented and improvement driven personality. 

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to wetstock management.

  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)

  • Solid knowledge of BI tools
