Marketing Operations Manager

Raleigh, NCPosted Jul 28, 2026

At Levitate, we’re on a mission to make a real impact - for our customers, our team, and the world around us. We believe the best work comes from people who are curious, driven, and excited to grow. Our five core values guide everything we do, and we look for teammates who embody the traits that make those values come to life:

Creating Magic ✨ You have the persistence and grit to turn ambitious ideas into remarkable outcomes.

Showing Customer Empathy ❤️ You bring humble confidence, listening deeply, and putting customers first.

Making Data-Driven Decisions 📊 You pair creativity with insights to make smarter, faster choices.

Focusing on Solutions, Not Problems 🔍 You approach challenges with positivity and critical thinking, always looking for the way forward.

Making Small Improvements Every Day 🌱 You embrace coachability and lean into discomfort to grow, improve, and drive lasting change.

Here, you won’t just do a job, you’ll help create meaningful experiences, solve real problems, and shape the future of our company.

Levitate is looking for a Manager of Marketing Operations and Demand Generation to own the data, systems, and reporting that our entire revenue marketing function runs on, and to lead the small team that executes against it.

This is an operations and analytics role first. You will personally own attribution, pipeline reporting, lead routing, and the data infrastructure that tells leadership what is working. You will also set demand generation strategy across email, organic, paid, and inbound, and lead the people who execute in those channels.

The split is roughly 60% individual contribution, 40% leadership. If you want a role where you stop touching the work, this is not it.

What you will own

  • Attribution and data integrity. The pipeline, source, and ROI numbers leadership makes decisions on are yours. You build the models, you defend them, and you do the unglamorous data work that keeps them trustworthy.
  • The reporting layer. Weekly and monthly revenue marketing reporting, including writing your own SQL against our warehouse. You will not be waiting on an analyst to pull numbers for you.
  • The HubSpot and martech foundation. Routing logic, UTM governance, form and campaign infrastructure, and the integrations that connect it all.
  • Marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue targets. You set demand gen strategy across channels, allocate budget, and manage progress week over week against a number you own.
  • A team. You develop them, evolve the structure as we grow, and raise the bar on what they can do with AI in their workflows.
  • AI and automation across the function. As the default way your team works.

What you will contribute to, but not own

  • ICP refinement and TAM expansion analysis, feeding recommendations to the VP of Marketing.
  • Competitive and market intelligence, surfacing signal that informs positioning and investment decisions.
  • Cross-functional work with sales, product, and engineering to unblock targeting, data, and routing needs.

What this role is not

This is not a brand, content, or campaign execution role. You will not be writing the emails, building the blog calendar, or designing the creative. Your team does that work, and your job is to make sure it is aimed at the right people and measured honestly.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years in B2B SaaS demand generation or marketing operations, with the majority of that time in roles where data and systems ownership was central rather than adjacent.
  • You have personally owned a marketing-sourced pipeline or revenue number, and can walk through a quarter where you hit it and a quarter where you missed, including why.
  • Deep HubSpot ownership, not HubSpot usage. You have architected lifecycle stages, built scoring and routing, cleaned up someone else's mess, and can talk specifically about what you would change in a HubSpot instance you inherited.
  • You have directly managed at least 2 people, including hiring, performance management, and development.
  • AI is already how you work. You use it daily, you have built or automated something with it, and you can teach it to others. ou can query a warehouse directly, model data, and build an attribution framework you are willing to defend in front of a leadership team. Comfort with Redshift or a similar warehouse is expected.

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to SMBs.
  • Experience entering a new market segment or vertical from a standing start.
  • Exposure to a Service-as-Software or services-plus-software model where the sale is an outcome.

Our commitment to our staff is showcased not only through our strong company culture, but also through our employee-centric benefits and programs including:

  • Daily catered lunches from locally-owned restaurants and diverse snack offerings
  • Employee-led groups (run club, disc golf club, and book club, just to name a few) that bring employees with similar hobbies and interests together to inspire and build relationships
  • Plentiful opportunities to volunteer with and contribute to local organizations that align with the passions of our staff
  • Flexible PTO to facilitate strong work-life balance
  • Paid parental leave that provides employees with support and flexibility as they grow their families
  • Extensive benefit options including healthy lifestyle reimbursement, 401(k) matching, HSA/FSA, dental, vision, and mental health coverage, and much more
  • Culture Crew and Emerging Leader programs to foster employee leadership development, inclusivity, and connection through year-round trainings and events
