Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As an Emulsion Sprayer Operator, you'll play a critical role in delivering chip sealing and surfacing works across Canterbury and the wider South Island.
Working within an experienced and supportive crew, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining emulsion sprayer equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring high-quality outcomes for our customers and communities.
This role involves regular travel throughout Canterbury and occasional work away across the South Island, so flexibility is essential.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, reliable, and takes pride in their work.
Ideally, you'll have:
• Class 2 Driver Licence minimum (Class 4 preferred)
• Experience operating an SRE sprayer
• Experience in road surfacing, sealing, civil construction, or a similar industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining equipment to a high standard
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
