As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effectively implemented and aligned with project goals. The engineer will coordinate efforts across teams, troubleshoot challenges, and continuously refine application features to meet evolving requirements, fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio.
- Experience with integration design and development within Workday environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Familiarity with application configuration and deployment processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting while managing individual responsibilities.

- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Studio.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
