About the Role:
Crusoe's Finance team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to serve as the analytical backbone of our Sales and Revenue organization. Reporting into Finance leadership, you'll partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, and Revenue Operations to bring rigor to pricing and deal structuring, build the models that drive our revenue forecast, and turn pipeline and bookings data into insight the business can act on. This is a highly visible role for a commercially minded finance leader who wants to sit at the intersection of Sales and Finance and shape how the company measures and predicts growth.
What You'll Be Working On:
Revenue Forecasting: own the revenue forecast model end-to-end, integrating pipeline, bookings, and consumption data to produce a forward view leadership can rely on, and continually refine the model as deal patterns evolve
Deal Desk Support: partner with Sales and Deal Desk on non-standard and large deals, evaluating pricing, discounting, margin impact, and contract structure to help close deals that are both competitive and financially sound
Sales Analytics: build and maintain dashboards and reporting that track pipeline health, conversion, win rates, and bookings trends, surfacing the story behind the numbers for Sales and executive leadership
Forecast Variance Analysis: lead the monthly and quarterly cadence for comparing forecasted to actual revenue, identifying drivers of variance and working with Sales leadership on corrective action
Pricing & Deal Economics: develop and maintain frameworks for evaluating deal profitability, discount guardrails, and contract terms, ensuring consistency across the deal desk process
Cross-Functional Partnership: act as the finance point of contact for Sales, Revenue Operations, and Legal on deal-related financial questions, and represent the commercial forecast in broader FP&A planning cycles
Process Improvement: streamline and automate recurring sales and revenue reporting so the team spends less time compiling data and more time on analysis
What You'll Bring to the Team:
7+ years of progressive finance experience, with meaningful time spent supporting a sales or revenue organization, ideally including deal desk or pricing responsibilities
Demonstrated ownership of a revenue or bookings forecast in a subscription, usage-based, or enterprise sales environment
Advanced financial modeling skills, comfortable building driver-based models and scenario analyses from scratch
Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets and experience with CRM and BI tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or similar)
Excellent business partnering instincts, with the judgment to challenge sales assumptions constructively and the communication skills to influence senior stakeholders
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field; MBA or CFA a plus
Bonus Points
Experience supporting a sales org selling infrastructure, cloud, or other technical/enterprise products
Prior deal desk ownership, including discount approval workflows and non-standard contract review
Experience standing up or significantly improving a revenue forecasting process at a scaling company
