Supervisors are responsible for the direct oversight of employees of a designated account and/or on a designated shift. To include ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met.

 

Compensation: $85,000 annual salary (US Dollars)

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

· Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.

· Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.

· Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests (Events).

· Represent ABM by participating in client briefings and communicating with Client representatives on a frequent basis regarding operations.

· Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.

· Maintain daily shift report for managers.

· Perform basic administrative, payroll and Attendance functions (as required).

· Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.

· Effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees.

· Conduct Safety and Quality audits.

· Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure the safety, security, and quality of the operation.

· Ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

· Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with Staff and Custodians.

Additional Assistant Account Manager Responsibilities

· Serve as the Assistant Account Manager and support the Account Manager in all daily operational, administrative, staffing, safety, quality, and client service functions.

· Assist the Account Manager in overseeing day-to-day account operations to ensure customer expectations, contractual obligations, and company standards are consistently achieved.

·Serve as a member of the account's management on-call and maintain availability to address operational, staffing, safety, security, and customer service issues outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

· Work flexible and varying schedules based on business demands, operational requirements, staffing needs, client expectations, and special events.

· Spend scheduled time each month working on 2nd and 3rd shifts to maintain operational awareness, support frontline leadership, and ensure consistency across all shifts.

· Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying operational efficiencies, improving processes, reducing service gaps, and assisting in the implementation of best practices.

· Conduct regular field observations and spend dedicated time with each Supervisor to provide coaching, mentoring, performance development, leadership support, and operational guidance.

· Perform Account Manager and supervisory duties as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations and service delivery.

· Monitor operational performance and ensure all quality standards, contractual requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer service expectations are achieved and maintained.

· Assist in developing action plans and implementing corrective measures when operational, quality, safety, staffing, or KPI performance deficiencies are identified.

· Partner with leadership and frontline teams to maintain a positive work environment focused on employee engagement, accountability, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

· Support client relationships through regular communication, issue resolution, operational follow-up, and participation in meetings, briefings, audits, and business reviews as required.

Language Skills:

· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.

Reasoning Ability:

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

General Company Requirements:

· Employee must comply with the Company's uniform and grooming standards and must always wear his or her badge/ID.

· Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Team Member National Handbook.

License:

· Valid State Driver License

Experience:

· Three years of Supervisor experience preferred.

Overall:

· Must be 21 years of age or older
