Job DescriptionAre you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys helping others and keeping technology running smoothly? Join our team as a Desktop Technician and play a key role in supporting the systems that power patient care.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving technical issues, supporting end users, and ensuring our hospital’s technology environment runs efficiently. What You’ll Do
Provide first- and second-level desktop support to staff across the organization (in-person and remote)
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and basic network issues
Manage and resolve service tickets with a focus on timely follow-up and excellent customer service
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and related systems
Support audio-visual and multimedia tools (e.g., virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and Teams)
Educate and guide users on software applications and best practices
Assist with system rollouts, upgrades, and technology deployments
Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
Ensure compliance with IT processes, security standards, and organizational policies
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Working knowledge of desktop systems, applications, and basic networking (TCP/IP)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
Experience supporting technology in a healthcare environment
