Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and coordination to ensure seamless migration of applications and data. The engineer works on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that leverage both private and public cloud platforms, aiming to support advanced business objectives and enhance overall system performance. Collaboration with various teams and continuous monitoring of migration progress are integral parts of the daily routine to achieve successful cloud adoption.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the planning and execution of cloud migration projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance cloud migration capabilities.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting in resolving technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services.
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for database environments.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and migration tools relevant to database systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
