Skip to main contentSign InSenior Buyer, Project Procurement page is loadedSenior Buyer, Project ProcurementApplylocationsPune, Indiatime typeFull timeposted onPosted Yesterdayjob requisition idR6897Senior Buyer, Project Procurement The Project Procurement Lead / Senior buyer is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of goods and services required for projects and products, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.This role collaborates closely with project managers, engineering, finance, and suppliers to support successful project execution. When required, sourcing and senior buyer support to other project procurement teams will be part of the role.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies and plansSource suppliers, issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and lead commercial negotiationsAward contracts and purchase orders in compliance with company policiesManage supplier performance, expediting, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycleMonitor budgets, cost savings, and forecast procurement spendEnsure contractual, legal, and regulatory complianceCoordinate logistics, delivery schedules, and documentationResolve commercial issues, claims, and change ordersProvide reporting to project stakeholders and senior managementRequirements:Experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fieldSignificant experience in procurement or strategic sourcing (often 5–10+ years)Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with project-based environments (e.g., construction, engineering, energy, manufacturing)Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and MS OfficeExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesLeadership qualitiesAbout UsOur employees create products every day that are changing the way energy is produced and delivered.
