Contracts Administrator

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Contracts Administrator to join our Energy & Utilities business.

 

Reporting into the Commercial and Operational leadership team, this role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely administration of service contracts, claims, invoicing, job costing, reporting and forecasting activities. Working closely with field teams, finance, clients and support functions, you will play a key role in protecting contractual entitlements, maximising revenue recovery, and ensuring services are billed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Manage claims, invoicing, job costing and billing activities to ensure services are commercially compliant and accurately recovered.
  • Monitor work-in-progress, job completion documentation and billing performance to support revenue and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to resolve billing issues, identify variations, and ensure contractual entitlements are captured.
  • Analyse job and financial data, providing reporting and insights to support operational decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across billing, contract administration and commercial processes.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate commercial and administrative outcomes.

  • Experience in contract administration, billing, invoicing, job costing or a similar commercial support role.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Experience within utilities, electricity, contracting, construction or infrastructure industries will be highly regarded.
