The Business Systems Manager leads the Business Systems Team and oversees the performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system along with other software systems. This position serves as a strategic partner to business operations, ensuring the business systems align with organizational objectives and drive operational excellence.

In this leadership role, you will:
• Provide strategic oversight of the company's ERP system and roadmap
• Manage, mentor, and support the professional growth of team members
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to align software development initiatives with operational goals
• Facilitate integration of existing and new applications
• Oversee departmental planning, project prioritization, and performance metrics
• Develop and manage budgets, vendor relationships, and service level agreements
• Establish standards, policies, and best practices for business systems usage across the organization
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer service excellence

Beyond leading, this role is about driving execution and delivering results. You'll be responsible for ensuring that the company's IFS ERP system and all integrated systems evolve with the business and serve as the backbone for efficient operations and data-driven decision-making,
In this operational role, you will:
• Lead the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the ERP system
• Partner with departments to refine business processes and translate needs into effective software enhancements
• Ensure ERP data integrity, system security, user access controls, and high system performance
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and integration with other business applications
• Oversee incident resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive system monitoring
• Document processes, create training materials, and provide end-user support and education
• Lead ERP-related projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-deployment support
• Analyse system utilization and recommend improvements to maximize ERP functionality and ROI
What You'll Need:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience working with and building ERP systems and applications
• Proven experience managing ERP systems (IFS experience strongly preferred)
• Experience in renewables field operations a plus
Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of ERP administration, configuration, and system integrations
• Understanding of business process mapping and workflow optimization

• Strong presentation and training facilitation abilities
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Project management capabilities with attention to detail
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Other Requirements:
• Valid driver's license (NON-CDL or CDL)
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening
• Ability to work on-site and travel occasionally as needed
