Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility. We develop technology-driven solutions to make transportation safer and more convenient worldwide. We work with police departments and local governments across the Asia Pacific, Europe and North America to install safety cameras, including red-light, speed, and school bus stop arm cameras. We manage tolling transactions and violations for the world's largest commercial fleets and rental car companies, serving over 8.5 million vehicles whilst, via our proprietary connected systems, processing nearly 165 million transactions each year for more than 50 tolling authorities.

Our Values

Verra Mobility is a vibrant and rapidly expanding company that places people at the heart of everything we do. We wholeheartedly embrace our core values: Do What's Right, Choose Courage Over Comfort, Win Together, and Own It in every interaction with our customers and our dedicated team members.

As our International business continues to grow across APAC and EMEA, we are seeking a committed Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract management across these regions from proposal through to execution, variation and renewal.
This is a permanent, full-time role, based in Melbourne, Australia, with a hybrid working model from home and our South Melbourne office.

The Role

As Senior Contracts Manager you will own the contract lifecycle for our International business end to end: RFPs and sole source bids, master services agreements, subcontracts, deeds of variation, change orders and wind downs. You'll sit inside the bid team alongside Sales, Finance and Delivery, and you'll be the person the business turns to for contractual advice and to drive these agreements to close.

In this key role at Verra Mobility you will:

•    Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management across APAC and EMEA, from opportunity through to execution, amendment, renewal and wind down.
•    Partner with cross-functional bid teams to shape proposal content that is accurate, compliant and on deadline.
•    Draft, review and negotiate customer and supplier agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, subcontracts and NDAs.
•    Identify, assess and escalate contractual risk across liability, indemnity, IP and data privacy, and recommend practical mitigation.
•    Negotiate directly with government customers, obtaining consents and approvals as required.
•    Support negotiation of vendor and supplier contracts, including Technology's review of vendor services where relevant.
•    Build and maintain the templates, playbooks and boilerplate that standardise contracting across the region.
•    Track active contracts, renewals and expirations through our CLM tooling, reporting obligations and performance to leadership.
•    Identify automation and process improvements that strengthen contract governance across the region

Who are you?

You are a practical, accountable contracts professional (7+ years) who can move a deal from first draft to signature without losing sight of the risk sitting inside it. You've negotiated directly with government and enterprise customers, ideally across APAC or EMEA, and you understand what probity and public procurement actually demand in practice.

You are comfortable holding a busy portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, and you use a CLM system (Icertis, Ironclad, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM or similar) to stay ahead of renewals rather than behind them. You have a working grasp of the risk areas that matter most, liability, indemnity, IP, data privacy, and of the compliance landscape around anti-bribery, export control and modern slavery. You are commercially minded, understanding how pricing, invoicing and revenue recognition connect to what's on the page.

Experience matters more than a checklist here. A legal, business or commerce qualification is useful; World Commerce & Contracting (IACCM) certification and government or defence customer experience are valued but not essential. Ability to travel up to 20% of time worked is required.
