Napapijri is looking for an exceptional Associate Planner to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland for a fixed term contract of 9 months.

Let’s Talk about the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Planning team on a temporary maternity cover assignment. The successful candidate will primarily provide operational support to the Demand & Supply Planning functions, while also contributing to activities across the broader Planning team as needed.

How You Will Make a Difference

Demand Planning

  • Support the maintenance and update of demand planning data and reports

  • Assist with forecast consolidation, data validation, and reporting activities

  • Coordinate with Sales, Merchandising and other cross-functional teams to collect and validate planning inputs

  • Prepare regular planning reports and presentations.

  • Monitor forecast accuracy and support root cause analysis.

  • Regular monitoring of seasonal Key Performance Indicators (excess, shortage, on time), driving a continuous improvement approach within the brand and planning mitigating actions if needed.

  • Participate the seasonal consensus meetings with Supply

Supply Planning

  • Support supply planning activities to ensure product availability and inventory targets are achieved

  • Monitor purchase orders and production status

  • Assist in managing exceptions, shortages, and supply constraints

  • Maintain and update planning parameters and master data within planning systems

  • Collaborate with Global Supply Planning, Sourcing and Inventory teams to support operational execution

Operational & Cross-Functional Activities

  • Support the preparation of S&OP and planning meetings

  • Ensure data accuracy across planning tools and systems

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization activities

  • Provide operational support to the wider Planning organization when required

  • Assist in ad-hoc analyses and business projects

Skills for Success

  • University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics or equivalent.

  • Fluent English, verbal and written.

  • Excellence in Excel, strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment.

  • Passion for working with numbers, analytical mindset.

  • Ability to work with large volumes of data from multiple sources, manipulating information in a meaningful way and the ability to interpret and challenge complex data.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Flexible and willing to support different teams and functions.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Team player but also able to work independently.
