Echocardiographer - Echocardiography - PRN

Responsibilities:

1. The echocardiography sonographer independently performs adult echocardiograms and reports preliminary impressions as indicated. All exams are performed within standard protocols guided by Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography (ICAEL). The sonographer performs stationary and portable exams in the inpatient, outpatient, and procedural setting. 
2. Performs transthoracic, transesophageal, dobutamine and stress exercise echocardiograms. Performs contrast and bubble studies to enhance image quality. 
3. All other duties and assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

• Graduation of an echocardiography program required.
• Must obtain an appropriate credential (RDCS, RCS, or CRCS) within one year from the date of graduation of echocardiography program.
