People Data Operations Lead

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide supervision to multiple specialists supporting overall record management and data inquiries across a world region
Support regional managers with location management needs via the Emerson Matrix Manager role
Legal, Security and Safety administration
Provide input for performance
Assign tasks and monitor workflow of the team
Review metrics with management regularly to analyze workflow and trends
Maintain schedules and arrange coverage to ensure service goals are met
Train and guide direct reports on transactions within HR systems
Support and advise direct reports on the handling of HR, employee and people manager inquiries
Drive accurate and timely entry of employee data for successful downstream impacts
Promote a cohesive and inclusive team environment
Manage case escalations using functional resources management
Support more complex transactions related to transfers and terminations
Initiate contact with direct reports and customers at regular intervals to maintain cohesion and teamwork
Liaise with other functions, including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, IT, Employee Experience, etc., to address employee inquiries
Promote HCM process and data integrity as well as confidentiality and data privacy
Track resolution of issues and risks critical to operations to achieve service goals
Identify and report unknown/unresolved errors that impact productivity and/or the employee experience
Provide input on new and existing processes to promote continuous improvement and team efficiency
Participate in system update and enhancement testing, providing feedback and validating impact after implementation
Maintain good knowledge in the software tools that are used to manage and maintain accurate data processing
Research and investigate laws and regulations as needed
Other duties as assigned by management

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Payroll, or a related field.
3+ years of related work experience, preferably in a multi-division, multi-state environment
Must be able to use Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with multi-disciplines from the clerical level to senior management
Ability to understand FLSA, and other employment regulations
Ability to show promptness and urgency in recognizing priority of tasks
Ability and willingness to accept change
Ability to function effectively in a rapid-paced environment
Must be able to think logically and creatively to resolve problems and prevent them from reoccurring
Must be detail-oriented and conscious of data confidentiality requirements
Ability to understand processes without every detail needing to be defined
Must be able to multi-task
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience with Oracle applications is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and analytics is a plus.
