- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and reporting access-related concerns.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
