As part of the Global Trading team, you will be responsible for performing various duties in adherence to the firm’s order execution policy and procedures during the European, US and Asia trading sessions.
Working hours - Shift Rotation:
Early shift 1: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Early shift 2: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Early shift 3 (Mondays only): 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
Late shift 1: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Late shift 2: 04:00 PM - 01:00 AM
Late shift 3 (Fridays only): 06:00 PM - 03:00 AM
Night shift 1: 01:00 AM - 08:30 AM
Night shift 2 (Mondays only): 00:00 AM - 07:30 AM
What you'll do:
Monitor internal and external order executions to ensure accurate and timely trade confirmations, adherence to regulatory obligations and delivery of good customer outcomes
Review and analyse trading activity across all applicable asset classes. We have over 17,000 instruments, globally, including stocks, ETFs, futures and forex, all available as fractions
Ensure accurate pricing of products and system performance
Produce effective KPIs to review trading data
Identify optimisations to system parameters to drive execution quality
Work with internal stakeholders to develop business specifications for trading/risk tools and other feature enhancements
Conduct ongoing Best Execution monitoring, ensuring compliance and produce monthly management information to present to internal committees
Perform post trade surveillance tasks
Fundamental requirements:
Demonstrable interest in financial markets and working knowledge of the online retail brokerage industry
Comprehensive understanding of market practices and their regulatory requirements
Minimum 2:1 degree within a relevant field, with scientific or mathematical background, e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Economics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly numerate and analytical
Driven attitude to work creatively and independently
Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable
Must show high attention to detail
Fluent in written and spoken English (Level C1)
Preferred requirements:
1 - 2 years’ experience in a trading role - preferably with a focus in equities
Fundamental understanding of the CFD derivatives market
Programming languages such as SQL or Python
