About the role 

The Manufacturing supervisor  will lead the Advanced Manufacturing strategy to support business growth, operational excellence, and competitiveness. This role is responsible for driving industrialization initiatives, automation projects, capital investments, and the implementation of innovative manufacturing technologies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing manufacturing capabilities, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and Carrier Excellence.

Key Responsibilities
•    Leading and developing the Advanced Manufacturing team to execute strategic business projects.
•    Managing CAPEX projects from requirements definition through implementation, validation, and equipment release.
•    Leading the industrialization of new products and manufacturing processes.
•    Identifying and implementing new technologies, automation solutions, and innovative manufacturing practices to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
•    Coordinating RFQs, engineering reviews, FAT, SAT, equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
•    Ensuring the execution of feasibility studies, capacity analysis, and process validations.
•    Managing investment budgets and ensuring projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
•    Collaborating with global teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement manufacturing solutions.
•    Promoting Carrier Excellence (CX), quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
•    Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive manufacturing transformation and competitive advantage.


Requirements
We are looking for people who are innovative, results-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about driving operational excellence through advanced manufacturing technologies.

As a minimum you must have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience leading automation, industrialization, and CAPEX projects.
•    Experience leading engineering, manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing teams.
•    Proven experience managing budgets, cost control, and supplier relationships.
•    Experience in automation, integration, installation, and validation of manufacturing equipment.
•    Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and process industrialization.
•    Experience coordinating RFQ, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and production transfer activities.
•    Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
•    Advanced knowledge and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
•    PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
•    Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
•    Advanced English proficiency (business and conversational).
•    Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, strategic planning, and change management skills.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
•    Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
•    Experience implementing Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, or digital transformation initiatives.
