OVERVIEW: The C&E Consultant Assistant will be responsible for assisting with employee communication projects for EPIC’s national Communication and Engagement (C&E) practice. The C&E Consultant Assistant will develop and deliver communication strategies and multi-channel campaigns to support employee engagement objectives. This is a consultative position that has a direct impact on the success of EPIC’s Employee Benefits practice and its goals to build and retain client relationships.

This is a 3-month temporary position, we estimate approximately 20-30 hours per week.

 

LOCATION: Remote (U.S. based)

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

• Serve as a consultant for employee-facing benefits communications, from strategy development to delivery, including internal collaboration with C&E colleagues and EPIC account teams on content development, graphic design and project management
• Create compelling employee benefits communications that are easily understood and delivered across a multitude of channels (for example: digital, and print) to maximize employee engagement and to facilitate required action
• Ensure all content is written and edited to the highest standards, optimized for the channel distribution and provides great user experiences
• Establish priorities, manage multiple projects and create workflows to ensure all projects are delivered with quality and accuracy

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 

• Extremely organized, self-starter and natural storyteller with the ability to translate complex ideas into easily digestible content
• Project management mindset that likes to keep things structured and on task
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications
• Ability to handle multiple client priorities with strong attention to detail while seamlessly able to switch between projects and clients
• Ability to work under pressure and under deadlines with limited timeframes
• Flexible, strategic, collaborative and creative problem-solving skills
• Effective time management and enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of meeting deadlines
• Experience in creative writing and producing compelling content, benefits content a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Teams)
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with and without direct oversight
• Able to pivot between priorities, projects and supporting internal team members during a fast-paced OE season

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or equivalent experience
• Employee benefits or healthcare industry experience a plus
• Client management experience
• 5-8 years combined benefit and communications experience

 

COMPENSATION: 

The hourly pay range for this position is $35.00 – $50.00 per hour and standard workweeks are 25 hours. This range represents the employer’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. This role may also be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
