Job Description:
The Transformation Office drives operational efficiency, AI adoption, and strategic change across the business. Reporting to the Sr Director of Transformation, the Manager, Transformation Program Management is the operational owner for enterprise AI Transformation — moving the portfolio from idea to adopted, measurable business outcomes. Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is a major priority within that portfolio, alongside AI Enablement, enterprise AI platforms, and cross-functional initiatives led with IT, Security, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and the business.
The role owns the strategic and operational layer end to end: opportunity diagnosis, intake, prioritization, sequencing, delivery coordination, risks, change management, adoption, and ROI reporting. It is an individual-contributor role — no engineers report into it — with leverage coming from strategic judgment, process, and coordination. The title is Manager; the mentality is whatever-it-takes.
Please note: To support collaboration with our team and business partners, we are currently accepting applications only from candidates located in the CST or EST Time Zones.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategic Prioritization & Opportunity Diagnosis: Direct the portfolio toward the biggest business outcomes — not what is easiest to automate. Diagnose opportunities, distinguish AI use cases from process-improvement needs, and own intake and sequencing across FDE, AI Enablement, platform, and other enterprise AI work.
Program Operations & Operating Framework: Own the day-to-day engine — status, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions — with particular depth on FDE. Build the standards, templates, and governance behind an intake → prioritization → delivery → adoption → value model that scales on repeatable process. No task is beneath the role: unblock stalled engagements, build the first version of a missing tracker, and systematize the fix.
Business Partnership, Change & Adoption: Serve as the primary operational contact for functional leaders, managing expectations and commitments. Prepare functions for workflow changes and partner with FDE and AI Enablement so solutions are adopted and sustained.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Governance: Coordinate across IT, Security, Legal, Finance, and engaged business units so engagements are set up for success and followed through — holding partners accountable without direct authority.
Executive Communications & Technical Translation: Own the executive-facing narrative across FDE, AI Enablement, platforms, and cross-functional delivery. Produce executive, board, and ownership materials, field CapVest questions, and translate delivery into clear business decisions.
ROI Tracking & Value Realization: Maintain the planned-versus-realized value framework. Partner with Finance and delivery teams to capture baselines and outcomes — time recaptured, throughput, quality, cost avoidance, adoption, revenue impact — and keep every ROI claim defensible and tied to budget.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
10+ years in program/project management or business operations, running cross-functional programs in a SaaS, technology, or PE-backed environment; PMP a plus.
Proven ability to drive multi-workstream programs to real financial and operational impact — not just on-time, on-budget delivery.
Builds structure where none exists, defaults to action, and doesn’t wait for permission to solve the problem in front of them.
Strategic judgment and process discernment — prioritizes toward the biggest outcomes, and knows where AI adds value versus where process improvement comes first.
Change-management experience driving adoption and the people-side of change; exceptional executive communication, independently producing highly-defensible board- and ownership-facing materials.
Financially literate and comfortable partnering with Finance — pressure-tests an ROI model and builds value-tracking frameworks Finance will trust.
Technically fluent in AI without being an engineer — enough command of AI concepts, enterprise platforms, and FDE delivery models to earn credibility with technical teams and translate the work for executives and owners.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
Not an engineering or technical-delivery role — you don’t architect or build; you make sure the right work is prioritized, delivered, adopted, and measured.
Not a people-management role — no engineers report to you; your leverage is strategy, process, coordination, and business judgment.
Not a ticket-tracking PM, and not limited to FDE — the role judges what’s worth building and whether AI is the right tool, across the enterprise AI portfolio.
