This role is ideal for someone who performs well under pressure, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple production elements in a fast-paced newsroom environment.Direct live newscasts and other recorded productionsCoordinate the work of technical operators during broadcastsCollaborate with producers to deliver polished, accurate newscastsOperate broadcast audio and video systems in accordance with station policies and proceduresManage on-air elements including video, graphics, audio, recording, and playbackWork efficiently in a team setting while meeting strict deadlinesSchedule: 20–25 hours per week, including weekend morningsSalary - $18.00 to $20.00 hourlyQualificationsExperience with Grass Valley Ignite, ROSS XPression, ENPS, and Vitec robotic camera systems a plusStrong ability to stay composed and make decisions in high-pressure situationsRequirementsDegree in Communications or a related field, or equivalent training and/or experienceStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignmentsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work effectively with anchors, video journalists, videographers, production staff, engineering, and newsroom leadershipExperience in television, film, or post-production preferredWorking knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 Loading© 2026 Workday, Inc.
