LMW, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the Productions & Entertainment industry, is seeking a Film Acquisitions Executive to join its team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating and acquiring film content for theatrical distribution, monitoring the commercial performance of released titles, and providing strategic insights to support acquisition decisions and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Film Acquisitions & Content Evaluation
- Evaluate film titles and acquisition opportunities for theatrical distribution.
- Assess the commercial potential of film content based on market trends, audience demand, and competitive landscape.
- Support the negotiation and acquisition process by providing commercial analysis and recommendations.
- Monitor industry developments, upcoming releases, and international market activity to identify acquisition opportunities.
Commercial Performance Analysis
- Monitor the box office performance of released titles and evaluate commercial results.
- Analyze admissions, revenue, and other key performance indicators to measure title success.
- Identify performance trends and provide insights to optimize future acquisition and distribution strategies.
- Maintain accurate reporting and performance tracking across the theatrical portfolio.
Reporting & Business Insights
- Prepare regular analytical reports and presentations for the Producer and Senior Management.
- Develop detailed reports covering box office performance, admissions, revenue analysis, title performance, and market trends.
- Present commercial insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
- Utilize data to evaluate portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of relevant experience within the film industry, preferably in film acquisitions and theatrical distribution.
- Strong knowledge of theatrical distribution and the international film business.
- Proven experience in box office reporting, commercial performance analysis, and market evaluation.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret commercial data and provide actionable insights.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Film Studies, Economics, or a related field would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
