Job Summary
The Red Hat Consulting team is seeking a Senior Application Development Consultant to join our team in Puteaux, France. In this role, you will specialize in the design and implementation of automated container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures. You will lead on-site implementations of Red Hat’s cloud-native technologies, helping our customers migrate from traditional infrastructures to modern, automated platforms.
You will act as a strategic advisor, bridging the gap between customer business needs and technical implementation, ensuring our solutions are practical, scalable, and effective.
What You Will Do
Serve as a technical subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing complex development and strategic IT requirements.
Lead the implementation and integration of Red Hat’s open and hybrid cloud solutions, including OpenShift, Red Hat Build of Keycloak, Argo CD, Tekton, Red Hat Dev Spaces, Red Hat Developer Hub, and Kafka.
Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes (CI/CD) to improve cloud lifecycle management, infrastructure uptime, and time-to-market.
Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to meet project timelines and business objectives.
Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to customers, fostering long-term adoption of open source solutions.
Contribute to project documentation, including technical diagrams, architectural recommendations, and process guides.
Stay current with industry practices, Red Hat policies, and emerging cloud technologies to ensure high-quality, relevant solutions.
What You Will Bring
8+ years of experience in enterprise application modernization projects.
3+ years of advanced experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
3+ years of expertise in AppDev solutions including Tekton, Dev Spaces, Developer Hub, and Kafka.
Proficiency in GitOps methodologies and tools, such as Argo CD, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM), Helm, Git, and Kustomize.
Experience with authentication and security solutions, particularly SSO and Keycloak.
Deep technical knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Strong communication skills in English and French, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and presentations.
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly, work independently, and solve complex problems.
A passion for open source software, automation, and continuous improvement.
Availability to travel across the region as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
Experience with DevOps and agile methodologies.
Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.).
