Job Description
As a Security Officer Building Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control functions, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and puts people first.

- Provide customer service to healthcare facility personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least five years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
