You Are:
Defense Delivery Executive who will lead delivery activities including oversight of teams to assure quality work, as well as staffing specialized resources to deliver projects. The role involves firm-wide and industry engagement of individuals and teams to deliver the Power of Accenture and support Defense growth initiatives, including proposal development, thought leadership and marketing.
The Work:
- Work with current AFS Defense Leadership to plan and deliver account growth
- Collaborate with leadership to use and create standard delivery tools and methods to plan, monitor and control delivery for high-quality and predictable outcomes for programs, projects and/or managed services
- Provides client-oriented insights and coaching into supporting delivery efforts and engaging with key stakeholders
- Identify and analyze project stakeholders in the internal and external environments, including but may not be limited to business, IT and contracting leadership, partners and teammates to develop and maintain a relationship plan
- Support risks and issues escalations with client and AFS leadership
- Listen and articulate stakeholder interests and expectations
- Manages expectations according to agreed upon objectives
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree or 20+ years of industry experience
- 10 years of executive leadership of increasing larger P&L focused on Defense clients
- 5+ year leading development and implementation of technology solutions to Defense clients
- Experience with large scale P&L management
- Track record of building high performing teams and successfully
Bonus Points If:
- Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
- Experience leading offensive and defensive practices is recommended
- Exceptional in conceptualizing, architecting, and articulating security solutions for the world’s largest and most complex environments
- Proven ability to influence at the practice and firm level
- Committed to building and maintaining a consistent compliance program
- Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
- Excellent people management and relationship development skills
