Description
Conducts all inspections and documentation to ensure Quality specifications are met on a timely basis.
Accountabilities: (Tasks listed below may vary depending upon assigned location)
- Assists Supervisor with assigning employees to work stations.
- Inspect and audit orders for accuracy, content and specifications utilizing systems where appropriate.
- Provides a quality standard for presser/packers or assemblers to use as a guideline for product quality.
- Assist supervisor with random audits. Documents results.
- Evaluates process/product through required inspections to ensure conformity to standardized process specifications and quality standards. Documents results.
- Determines acceptability of product and/or process with respect to company standards and specifications and notifies supervisor of any quality manufacturing problems found during audits.
- Assists supervisor in Root Cause analysis of Quality/Accuracy issues and recommends corrective action. May assist with any recommended re⁃training.
- Performs a variety of clerical functions including filing, record keeping and maintenance of reports. Inputs information into computer system.
- Assists with periodic verification of flow racks for accuracy (lot trace, qty, manufacturing issues).
- Verify line clearance process is followed.
- Assist QA with verification regarding expired product in the flow racks.
- Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
- Performs various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
- Good communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing. Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
- For Distribution, minimum of one⁃year Quality Coordinator or Distribution experience preferred.
- For Manufacturing, minimum of one⁃year Production experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Must demonstrate leadership ability.
- Ability to navigate in computer systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet & Intranet.
- Must successfully pass written and practical tests and achieve scores equivalent to national standards.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Must be available to work all shifts.
- Must be available to work in all Northtec facilities as needed.
- May require a criminal background check.
- Equipment Used Calculator, personal computer and quality manufacturing equipment.
