Software Development Engineer 3
About the Role:
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II to join our team and contribute to the development of our React Component Library, a key foundation for creating scalable, consistent, and high-quality user experiences across our applications.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain reusable front-end components while ensuring performance, accessibility, and code quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain reusable UI components using React and JavaScript.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the organization's React Component Library.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and help ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Support development efforts across multiple layers of the application stack as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining a strong focus on quality and user experience.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Provide peer support and assist in onboarding junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and CSS.
- Experience developing reusable and maintainable UI components.
- Understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and modern CSS practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience with modern front-end tooling and build systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices.
