Inspector Team Assistant (Quality / Manufacturing)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector Team Assistant (ITA) to support quality and inspection operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with inspection teams to monitor performance, ensure quality standards are met, and support overall production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and monitor daily activities of the inspection team
- Evaluate work quality and provide feedback to Project Coordinators
- Ensure proper handling of non-conforming, rejected, and scrap materials
- Coordinate with logistics teams to maintain efficient material flow
- Assist with inspection processes, reporting, and documentation
- Conduct or support layered process audits (LPA)
- Analyze scrap and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, quality, or inspection preferred
- Previous inspection lead or team support experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Familiarity with calibration, inspection tools, and quality processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with reporting and data tracking
- Understanding of quality systems and documentation
- Technical writing and documentation skills
Work Environment & Safety
- Fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Requires standing for extended periods and lifting as needed
- Exposure to non-hazardous chemicals, noise, and production equipment
- Must follow all safety protocols including eye and hearing protection
Preferred Knowledge
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Experience with quality audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Understanding of customer-specific requirements and QMS processes
