This role involves ensuring smooth production processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.Job Responsibilities* Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all plant machinery and facilities to minimize downtime and optimize performance.* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production lines, and oversee or perform necessary repairs.* Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, focusing on optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).* Manage and supervise maintenance technicians and other technical staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies, conducting regular inspections and audits.* Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to identify and resolve operational challenges and support production targets.* Manage spare parts inventory, procure necessary equipment and services, and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.* Develop and manage the plant's capital expenditure budget for equipment upgrades, replacements, and facility improvements.* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including equipment manuals, maintenance logs, and engineering drawings.* Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and optimization projects.Job Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a plant engineering or maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the can manufacturing or similar high-volume production industry.* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.* Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and lean manufacturing principles.* Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.* Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for reviewing and developing engineering drawings.* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.Similar Jobs (2)Plant EngineerlocationsAmmantime typeFull timeposted onPosted 30+ Days AgoPlant...
