Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Secondary English Teacher role based in Hyderabad. The Secondary English Teacher will deliver engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the school curriculum, ensuring clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes. Responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson plans, designing assessments, grading assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves maintaining classroom discipline, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and integrating technology and innovative methodologies into teaching. The teacher will collaborate with academic coordinators and colleagues on curriculum implementation, participate in staff meetings and professional development, communicate regularly with parents or guardians on learner progress, and support school events and activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong English Teaching skills with demonstrated classroom experience at the secondary level.
  • Qualified Teacher status and relevant teaching certifications or licenses in English education.
  • Academic background in English Literature or related field, with the ability to teach both language and literature effectively.
  • Competence in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, outcome-oriented learning experiences.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and learner engagement skills.
  • Ability to use digital tools, educational technology, and innovative teaching strategies in the classroom.
  • Experience in CBSE, ICSE, or state board curricula and familiarity with assessment and evaluation practices is an advantage.
  • Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and ongoing professional development.
