KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock databases.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Update inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Process goods receipt notes (GRNs), delivery notes, and shipment records.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and labels.
  • Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Enter warehouse data into ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Maintain filing systems for warehouse documents. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
  • Track shipment status and update records accordingly.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and shipment tracking.
  • Support warehouse supervisors with operational planning.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding stock availability and shipment status.
  • Ensure warehouse records comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Report operational issues and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain warehouse-related correspondence.
  • Monitor office supplies and administrative resources.
  • Assist in training new warehouse staff on administrative procedures.
