KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock databases.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Update inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
- Process goods receipt notes (GRNs), delivery notes, and shipment records.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Prepare shipping documentation and labels.
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately recorded.
- Enter warehouse data into ERP or inventory management systems.
- Maintain filing systems for warehouse documents. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
- Track shipment status and update records accordingly.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and shipment tracking.
- Support warehouse supervisors with operational planning.
- Respond to inquiries regarding stock availability and shipment status.
- Ensure warehouse records comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Report operational issues and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management.
- Schedule meetings and maintain warehouse-related correspondence.
- Monitor office supplies and administrative resources.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on administrative procedures.
