Software Engineer
This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.
As a Software Engineer, you will help build and evolve the platform while delivering meaningful customer-facing features. This is a hands-on role focused on shipping high-quality production code, improving system reliability, and contributing to the modernization of established legacy systems.
A critical focus of this position is working with .NET/C# legacy systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable maintaining and extending older, established codebases while balancing development speed, code quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications
Experience
3–6 years of software engineering experience.
Experience building and shipping production systems.
Hands-on experience maintaining and extending established .NET/C# legacy systems.
Experience working with SQL Server as a primary database.
Experience developing and supporting customer-facing software features.
Experience debugging production systems and resolving technical issues.
Skills
Demonstrates strong .NET and C# development capabilities, particularly when maintaining, debugging, and extending older, established codebases.
Has strong SQL Server experience and can work effectively with the database within production software environments.
Demonstrates strong debugging and problem-solving abilities when working with legacy systems and production issues.
Can build production-quality software across frontend and backend systems while balancing speed, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Is comfortable contributing to system design and architecture with guidance while identifying opportunities to improve performance and system health.
Can take ownership of features or services throughout the development lifecycle, from implementation through production.
Uses AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to improve productivity and development workflows.
Communicates progress clearly and contributes effectively to code reviews and established engineering standards.
Nice to Have
Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly Vue/Nuxt, React/Next, or Node.js.
Experience working within e-commerce environments such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento, including exposure to order logic and tracking events.
Knowledge of logistics or shipping concepts such as dimensional sizing, customs, and duties.
Experience working with fulfillment systems or processes.
Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
