We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and collaborative individual to join the Content & Insights team as Principal Product Manager, Agentic Content Creation. In this role, you will lead a team developing strategies and agentic tools to power future content maintenance and creation at the scale of Microsoft’s training portfolio. You will work closely with instructional designers and technical writers to understand what makes for extraordinary learning experiences, and build an AI system of agents that all team members will use to scale their impact across modalities (courses, labs, modules, etc.).

Responsibilities

In the Principal Product Manager, Agentic Content Creation role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating requirements for a productionalized agentic system, including managing a process for collecting input from content creators (the primary users of this system).
  • Deeply understand human workflows, ensuring the uniquely human skills and expertise required to create best-in-class learning experiences are complemented by agentic systems.
  • Managing a planning cycle and publishing a regular roadmap of agent investments.
  • Working alongside the Global Skilling Learning Product Team to ensure any system designed respects the requirements of both the surface areas on which content is surfaced and the backend of how learning content is stored in a catalogue.
  • Designing metrics to measure success and collaborating with analytics peers to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Culture: Be a trusted partner to executives and an active participant in Global Skilling strategy and planning.


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in relevant technical roles, or product management OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Experience authoring business and technical requirements for complex end-user experiences with multiple engineering dependencies.
  • Experience creating frameworks and articulating organization-wide strategies with an outside-in perspective.
  • Excellence in communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience defining success metrics and measuring impact.
  • Experience with tech industry learning products and content types.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale content catalogues.
  • Familiarity with production agentic systems design and capabilities.
  • Microsoft Fundamentals, Coaching (e.g., International Coaching Federation), Project and/or Program Management Professional, or a similar certificate.
  • Demonstrates commitment to career development and continuous or consistent learning through formal and informal efforts (e.g., change management, design thinking, management training, online courses).

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
