Skip to main contentEnglishSign InProduction Planning Clerk page is loadedProduction Planning ClerkApplylocationsHouston, TX (TAS-AIRPORT)time typeFull timeposted onPosted 30+ Days Agojob requisition idJR103468POSITION OVERVIEW:The Production Planning Clerk will assist with closing out projects as well as provide other administrative support such as answering phones, filing, and greeting customers.KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with project close out.Assist production planners in the maintenance of work orders.Extract planned orders from MRP, verify product specifications and issue work orders.Calculate metrics such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, and amount of scrap, frequency of defects.Additional responsibilities as required by TAS. JOB SKILLS:Attention to detail and accuracy.Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency PC applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.Good organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with superiors and peers as well as individuals in other departments inside the company.EDUCATION & TRAINING:High School Diploma or GEDRELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:Data Entry, Clerical, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Engineering, TechnicalPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer.
