We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Junior Payments Officer in Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.

Reporting to: Payments Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Process client deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers accurately and on time.
  • Review daily withdrawal requests and make sure all required checks are completed before processing.
  • Verify payment details and ensure funds are allocated to the correct client accounts.
  • Monitor payment transactions and help resolve failed or delayed payments.
  • Communicate with banks and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to check payment statuses and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Assist in investigating payment discrepancies and escalate more complex cases to senior team members when needed.
  • Respond to client questions related to deposits, withdrawals, payment confirmations, and transaction issues.
  • Work closely with Customer Support, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams to resolve payment-related queries.
  • Support transaction monitoring by identifying unusual payment activity and reporting it to the appropriate team.
  • Help with payment reconciliations, reports, and keeping payment records up to date.
  • Learn about payment processes, industry best practices, and new payment methods.

Candidate Profile

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 12:00–20:00.
