Job Description:

Select Health’s Health Benefit Specialist (HBS) role has the critical accountability to provide superior service directly to Select Health members, customers, and providers and to deliver on Select Health’s strategy and mission. The HBS position assists Select Health members in living their healthiest lives possible by educating them about the best usage of health insurance plans and benefits.

The HBS I role is designed to assist new caregivers in developing essential job skills and obtaining industry knowledge through high engagement and successful completion of Select Health’s six-week HBS Basic Training Program.

Your Role

  • Deliver superior customer service via phone, email, and chat
  • Help members understand their benefits and resolve claims issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold Select Health’s service commitments

Training & Schedule

  • Start Date: September 14th, 2026
  • Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (In-Office in Murray, UT)
  • Post-Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
  • No time off during the first 60 days due to training requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Active Listening and time management
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, typing proficiency)
  • Preferred: Call center experience and bilingual (English/Spanish)

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
