Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Identify, automate, and continuously improve repeatable data processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness

  • Extract, manipulate, transform, model, visualize, analyze, and summarize accurate, relevant, timely, and cohesive data to support business needs

  • Execute core data requests, including journal entry testing, data extraction, reconciliations, and other analytical support activities

  • Create, document, and execute support processes and test procedures to ensure data deliverables are accurate, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives

  • Perform due diligence on data sources for independence, completeness, and overall data integrity

  • Serve as a liaison between data and business processes by communicating effectively with internal and external teams and recommending data-driven approaches that support business goals

  • Contribute to the team’s library of data tools, scripts, and methodologies while collaborating across virtual and cross-functional environments to complete projects and other work outside normal support activities

  • Manage work queues, keep team members informed of status, and apply sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills in prioritizing and executing work

  • Continuously develop knowledge of data analytics concepts, tools, technologies, and data sources, and proactively seek guidance to strengthen technical and analytical capabilities

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the information and data being processed, stored, and accessed by end users

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar analytics tools

  • Experience developing automated workflows and process improvements

  • Experience in a professional services, consulting, or financial services environment

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of experience

  • Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.)

  • High proficiency in Excel

  • Understanding of accounting/audit principles

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments

  • Strong prioritization and organization skills

  • Meet deadlines and SLAs consistently

  • Exercise independent judgment

  • Commitment to continuous improvement
