In this role, you will support our customers throughout the entire ordering process and act as an interface to planning, production, quality assurance and purchasing. How you’ll make an impact
- Coordinate and book international ocean freight and air freight shipments.
- Prepare and manage all required shipping, export, and customs documentation for global deliveries
- Liaise with TMC and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation processes
- Review and validate freight and logistics invoices
- Identify and evaluate revenue growth opportunities within logistics operations
- Coordinate and resolve customer complaints, shipment issues, and system-related errors
- Support and provide backup coverage for the Export Specialist role.
- Perform Trade Operations activities in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Act as backup support for the entire Shipping Team during vacations and absences
Your background
- Completed commercial education
- First professional experience in the field of export and freight forwarding
- Knowledge of international payment and delivery terms
- German and English fluently in written and spoken form is mandatory
- Experienced handling of the common MS Office applications as well as first experiences with ERP systems
- Ability to work in a team, on own initiative and structured way of working
- High degree of customer and service orientation
