Analytic Methodologist – Strategy Synchronizing
Responsibilities
The Defense Intelligence Enterprise doesn't synchronize itself. Peraton is looking for an Analytic Methodologist to help USCYBERCOM J2 build, shape, and advance the analytic strategies that keep the Defense Intelligence Enterprise for Cyber (DIE-C) aligned and effective at Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, you'll work at the intersection of methodology, strategy, and intelligence integration — deconstructing complex key intelligence questions, developing the frameworks that structure how the command approaches them, and ensuring J2's analytic efforts remain synchronized across strategic, operational, and tactical levels. This is a senior, conceptually demanding role for professionals who can operate comfortably with ambiguity, think in systems, and translate strategic intent into actionable analytic approaches.
What You'll Do
- Support development of analytic strategies to resolve Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) key intelligence mission-driven requirements
- Work with ambiguous information to deconstruct key intelligence questions and recommend appropriate analytic methodologies
- Develop data schemas to structure observations and support visualization of applicable data
- Provide support in developing the intelligence support framework for the Defense Intelligence Enterprise for Cyber (DIE-C)
- Shape and promote J2 synchronization and integration across strategic, operational, and tactical levels
- Plan, guide, coordinate, and support execution of the long-term growth strategy for DIE-C
- Identify, coordinate, and deconflict processes to support the maturation of DIE-C
- Support all Foreign Materiel acquisition, exploitation, and programs
- Collaborate with IC counterparts and USCYBERCOM staff to advance analytic methodology across the enterprise
- Author and maintain Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives

- Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports and strategy documents in Microsoft Office formats
- Proficiency evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information using structured analytic techniques
- Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations across disciplines
